Heads up on the new IC plan

Dear Field Sales,

You will shortly be notified of the new IC plan. It will be dramatically less money than past plans. Several in the home office were fighting for more but lost the fight. It seems economic reality has trumped incentivizing the field. Don't blame RSL and Brand team members as they went to bat for you. The lowered payouts for baseline units was to be $1.50 but that number was drastically reduced. Good luck to all.

You say "the lowered payout" for base units was to be $1.50? Base units were at 50 cents for q3. So who is responsible for reducing to 35 cents?

So if a rep sells 20,000 base vials in q4, the company makes $232,000 in sales and rep makes $7000.

15,000 base vials yields the company $175,000 in sales. Rep makes $5000.

10,000 base vials = $116,000 in sales for Cadence. Rep makes $3500.

Way to go Cadence!!!

And if a rep has a base of 2000 vials and 800 growth vials, the company makes $32,000 in sales and rep makes $3500---same as rep who sells 10,000 base vials? But rep with 10,000 base vials produces $85,000 more in sales for company??? WTF???

Your post really puts things in perspective, it's pathetic. What about the 8 bucks and change you get per case you sell? I know a lot people who won't be driving to those surgery centers doing 1-3 cases per week for $25. I'm not working this quarter, no money to make and keeps the baseline down for q1, 2013. We can play this game.
