It appears that the HCV training is for the training department and managers knowledge. Guess they don't need the sales force to be prepared or know anything for launch. Way to go Merck. MAD's that call on 10 doctors and don't communicate with anyone and a bunch of sales reps planning HIV programs and training for Hep C that is randomly on your own.
Looking forward to seeing how this launch plays out compared to the 6 months that Gilead prepared for and had multiple marketing programs beforehand.
