Hazard Pay

I’m calling for hazard pay for all front line workers, including sales. Any BioReference employee that is exposed to the public, should receive a 33% increase, retroactively to January, for risking our lives. We are essential Healthcare Heros. Recognition for that is long overdue.

Hero? People are lucky to have jobs. What about the furloughed? Many of whom are waiting for a call that will never come. Trump took away our unemployment. Took away our dignity.

Best idea ever on CafePharma.

Makes you wonder what lessons would be learned if on Friday August 21st all of the front line workers were too sick to come to work?

Could happen. Drivers, Phlebotomists and Reps, work in such a high risk environment. When someone is not feeling well, the responsible thing to do is to stay home.

Bet we would suddenly be a lot less under appreciated. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Hopefully everyone will stay safe and be well and hopefully BioReference will show some overdue appreciation soon.

I definitely feel like I’m coming down with something.

Healthcare workers always are in a hazardous environment. That is why we have universal precautions. Hazard pay is BS. Just a bunch a employees that are pissed they can't sit on their ass at home like the res of that lazy shit's collecting unemployment!

What’s the matter, son? Is Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits not paying you minimum wage? Because that’s all you’re worth. So stop trying to compare yourself to the highly trained professionals in the clinical laboratory industry. We are on the front lines in the war against the Wuhan Chinese Virus and you can’t remember the spork and napkins every time we order a 2-piece with red beans. Keep it up and we will have to speak with your manager.

Anyone that has ever worked here deserves hazard pay. The place has always been a cross between a battlefield and a zoo. Survival is a day to day thing.

Sounds like you’re very ineffective in your position. You’re clearly not cut out for the rough and tumble world of the clinical laboratory industry. Perhaps you should visit your local Popeyes Chicken and Biscuits. They are conducting on the spot interviews and offer free training, free uniforms, competitive wages and discounted employee meals. Hope this helps.

Competitive wages you say....that puts them ahead of Bio.

Do we have to do the math for you? BioReference offers endless opportunities for their sales representatives. Sell more. Earn more. But that’s the core of the problem, isn’t it, son? You’re incapable of selling anything. It’s no wonder they demoted you from the drive thru window. Y’all Good?

Working here, I expect to feel sick on 8/21 just as I do every single day.

The Executive Team has already leaped into action on this one. Any driver, phlebotomist, or outside representative that is absent on 8/21 will be immediately terminated for cause. No exceptions. In addition, subsequent claims for unemployment benefits will be vigorously defended with the full force of our legal department. Hope this helps.

Leaped into action.....well guess there is a first time for every thing. Inaction is their normal speed.

Do you know what a Performance Improvement Plan is, son? It’s referred to as a PIP, and you’re about to learn all about them. And when they issue it to you, I suggest that you keep your stupid concerns about their speed and agility to yourself.
