Hating the thought of new year!

First off I know so many colleagues have lost their jobs but are we, who remain better off loosing our self respect working for these/this ass-holes? I feel anxiety over heading into yet another bunch of disfunction top down. Yes I am not perfect but I am able to do much better job than my bosses! What's your thoughts? I am Hitting my numbers and riding the wave until something better in house, field, or outside company. Typical of global economy!!!

At what point do you reconsider the culture of a company and it's ethics. Novartis knowingly allows retaliation, harrassment and questionable dealings by their own HR Dept. and it's Senior Management. Everyone on the inside knows the data is invalid and manipulated, notice you never hear about the Incentive Plans being uncapped or a great motivation. It's because they know it's being manipulated and now within the OU's it is being manipulated even more. The Sales Awards program is a joke as they keep devaluing these awards with lesser trips, Masters Club and Cornerstone is a joke now vs. what it use to be. How many of the Masters Club Managers and Cornerstone reps were let go during this purge? My guess is plenty looking at the levels of people who got shafted. These guys are just looking at cutting as much compensation off the OU bottom line as possible so all those people who generate No sales will receive big bonuses. Look at all the people who were brought in from the outside, do you really think that they care about you or the organization. Their Track record is to jump from one company to the next and grab as much as they can and leave disaster in their wake. Good luck Novartis you will desrve the mess they leave. As Thomas Eberling said in the past every one above the Field personnel is overhead, they generate nothing. Should make for interesting meetings the next two weeks as they will continue to tout this as the place to be. Don't drown in the Kool Aid.

I would not apply for any position that requires excellent written communication skills.
