Has the exodus begun?

Has the exodus begun? Heard few reps put in notice. I know a lot of people are looking, myself included. Do you think galderma is going to catch on and make changes?

Who put their notice in?
Everybody who has an opportunity to leave is leaving and oh by the way TD next time you threaten a sales team on your little video - go shove it. It is not against the law to talk to other companies in particular when it is clear this company and you in particular do not give a rat's ass about anyone in the sales team. The Management is a bunch of egotistical and very limited on vision and really limited as to how to properly manage and motivate a sales team. Glad to be moving on.

Enjoy what is left of this place while you can.

Head over to Novartis. They are hiring specialty for Derm position, for new product. Lots of previous managers being recruited. Base salary $120k. Easy sell. I just talked to my old manager.

Base $110-120K. Large territory, Novartis will pay but you better deliver or else you are done. They just got rid off 200 reps on the Alcon side, management expects this new AIN457 to take over enbrel and Hurmira mkt. I have talked to my docs and data does show that AIN457 but don't forget this is biologics they will be prescribing. Derms like safety data, Stelera has better data but has not been around as long so they still prefer enbrel and Humira. This is a tough call, heard Novartis has some crazy call metrics ......

The treatment reality in a few years will be this:

1. Topicals, then phototherapy
2. DMARDs
3. Apremilast
4. NVS

NVS's product is so superior to Humira, Enbrel, etc in terms of efficacy that it will take the market. However, it is still a biologic and from EULAR looks like it has the same safety baggage.

Celgene's product is so safe, payers will line it up before the biologics.

Our modeling shows that you will have to step through topicals and dmards to even get to apremilast and you will have to step through both to get to the ILs.

The real deal will be what and now they contract with Managed Care. Managed care will not care if it is a better therapy all they care about is controlling utilization. The Celgene product already is having a questionable launch with the rookies they hired to sell and manage the initial launch. Safety is not the primary need it is efficacy and the other biologics have their place. So expect step edits and if the New product from Novartis is priced accordingly based on efficacy Managed care organizations will try to block it and or step edit first on topicals and other in line products prior to a patient receiving.

new reality but if you can get the gig could be worth a shot. limited Rx future here expand your career if you can.

Celegene are aware of everything going on at Galderma . They KNOW Texas is broken , it must be fixed quickly or Galderma will be trying to get Mirvaso on track with crap left over reps and new hires from Avis . Good luck with that . These " salary adjustments " better be legit , or goodbye multiple award winning reps .

Time to put the RIGHT people in place at the home office , most NSM are hopeless lost in their role . Several VPs couldn't decide if Heaven or Hell is a better choice and the Triluma division is a complete cluster with a milk toast leader .

Adapt quickly Texas or Ya'll will be seeing plenty of empty seats at the next POA

We all need to run away now!! This place is going to be much different very soon. There are going to be layoffs and a huge restructure change. I've been very loyal to Galderma, but ever since they switched me to MediScience I've been looking to get out of here. This place is a bad company to work for now.

Like my job here & my manager . Had good success here , but galderma division is leaderless . Curley needs heavy doses of Xanax he is so nervous all the time & Armstrong is a beyond help , he has the personality & leadership ability of a blind ground mole .

I've gotta leave , I just don't believe anymore . Just waiting on my offer any day now . For those who stay I hope you see the changes we are all pleading for in the home office management team . The have made sucked from the tit too long .

I'll be sad to tell my DSM , he is the only leader at galderma I still respect.

Re: Has the exodus begu

I feel bad for the few folks left at Uncle G who are actual solid at what they do. Unless you have a strong connection at Novartis or Celgene, neither company wants you. Galderma is basically looked at as entry level sales. Shame because some great people are still there. I left and did not go to Celgene or Novartis because at the end of the day you will deal with the same shit. Celgene and Novartis are looking great right now and probably have a better long term outlook than Galdema. If you are not happy with your current job, neither company will fix that. Only go to these companies for a quick fix, but ultimately you will be living ground hog day. If you are good at what you do, now is the time to make your move and do something exciting to you! I was scared shitless to make a move, as I was loyal and comfy at Uncle G. A few months after leaving and I could not be happier! Best of luck to everyone no matter what you choose to do.
