Has anyone at GSK had a severe vaccine AE?

Not just malaise or shoulder pain, you know blood clot, anaphylaxis, paralysis, neuralgia, etc.

Anyone?
I had a very bad reaction when I got the second Moderna shot.
The first shot was just lethargy and dizziness, but the second one had me barely able to move for half a week, passing in and out of consciousness, and only stumbling to my sink for water. I was very close to calling an ambulance before I began to slowly recover.
Suffice to say that taking a third shot would be suicidally insane.

I was hospitalized with the second shot. I got the silent treatment from my manager when I told her I needed time off. When boosters were approved she sent me an email telling me to plan for vacation days to be used if I was sick from the booster.

terrible headaches for a week

weight gain

cortisol increases due to the stressors of this vaccine on the body. causes weight gain. I know many who have gained weight

Brachial plexus Nueritis with the 2nd moderna shot. Had 2 mri’s, a emg, a couple of neurosurgeon appts, and have been doing physical therapy for the last couple of months. I guess I’ve had to spend at least $1000 out of pocket thus far. It’s been 8 months since the shot and I now have the strength to raise my hand over my head. My family doctor said under no circumstances should I get the booster. He also said to avoid all vaccines until I’m fully healed .

they absolutely can not do that as they require vaccination

My guess is that GSK is going to tell you tough nuts, you need to get the booster. Or, be subjected to a humiliating regimen of testing, complete with XL anal swabs.

I tried asking what would happen if an employee had an adverse event - would insurance cover this? What about if you died or ended up disabled?

The answer I got was "we would try everything possible to help you out." That sounds a little too "best effort" for my ears. "We'd take up a collection for you and send you flowers" instead of "All insurance coverage and benefits would apply as with any other illness."
