I was retained but from whom I've talked with, minorities(females too) seem to be 'rated' lowest. That's being said, these same minorities led in sales over my pale skin brethren. I guess ratings gave BB and MS an out to keep ppl that looked like them.....
 






I couldn't agree more. Just pick up the phone and call your manager back and tell him or her that you want to give up your spot. I am sure that there will be plent of displaced people lining up for your job. You are a thankless SOB that lives under the guise of entitlement.
 






Oh, that's exactly my point. I do have something better lined up and I will be quitting sometime. I have done a great job for Cephalon, but the last year has taken the fun out of it for me, so I am moving on. Sadly, I bet a lot of people who were retained will quit within a couple of months while there will be people who were laid off who needed this job more than I do and would have gladly traded places with me.

You're right, I was leaving anyways. But some people needed this job and actually turned down previous offers after being assured from ms that they would be retained.

if anybody actually turned down an offer in order to stay with ceph then they are the dumbest emm-effer alive and deserve to be out of a job. I doubt this actually happened, though.
 


















GOT THE CALL!!! Lets say some so called" sales reps "in the PA-WV-OH area ,remained -who should have gone on with there life's work when we went through the "oops off label cuts" . The dinosaurs remained while young peeps were sacked!........... Numbers ,performance , skills , Work ethic all went out the door . Those valuable years -of off label promotion , having a beer or 10 on the couch while other silly fools worked ,most days not leaving the house unless for hunting, or golf.........All paid off!!!!!!!!
Great job !!!Way 2 evaluate talent!!!!!!!Give a hand to the outside Consultant who gets paid to do a job that a 4th grader would think was easy.

Anyone know what happened to the Pittsburgh area team? Manager and reps ho got cut? So far of the people I know were cut were female, minority, or older aged people. Many having several p club wins I was cut I had 3 p club wins. So who knows but glad I was proactive now I have accepted Another amazing position and can pocket 12 months severence. I hope others are so lucky! To all that were retained you will be going through this again soon hen Provigil goes generic. Wishing everyone the very best!

Thank you! To temper my disappointment about not being offered severence, I will hope that TEVA does in fact react by downsizing as soon as Provigil goes generic. Maybe I will get lucky next time.
