Thats true , but get started now. It takes 4 to 6 months to land that job.

Also remember you cannot work for a competing diagnostic comany for 12 months after you quit or get laid off. Yes they will hold you to that non compete agreement. It will come up when they check your references during the background check. Exact will tell them about the non compete. They will threaten to sue the company you are trying to join. Exact is also a bitch to leave!

That's why it takes so long to find a job because you don't have recent experience in a non diagnostic job that doesn't compete. Plan for a 4 to 6 month hunt.

Many people went to Grail sales from Exact sales and nobody got sued. Non-compete was a non-issue, especially if you live/work in a right to work state. If you are in doubt, consult a labor attorney.
