Working in R&D is just like the article in the D&C has said. The hallways are happy. It is like working at a small town in Iowa. A really small town. One where the major businesses have left and the town is in disrepair.
What makes it happy is that we have each other. We are all colleagues huddled in the corner wondering who will get kicked off the island next. Since perhaps 80 % of the people we use to know are now former colleagues we stay connected on the former colleagues of B&L website. This also has greatly improved our ability to network and find jobs at other companies.
We also get to charge our batteries for free from the new solar facility we have on site.
Free Power, small town working environment, connections with former B&L colleagues, and a HR that is super concerned about our health and well being. Simply the best place to work.
