I 'd like to get an opinion from those who know him. I hear his division went ballistic on him at the Orlando meeting. The division is not to thrilled with him and hope management gets rid of him. A lot of complaints have been lodged.
 












Nothing more than affirmative action at it's best. I sat in a breakout room once with him. It was like watching paint dry. Absolutely no personality. I could not believe how stupid he was.
He had problems pronouncing simple medical terms. I was so embarrassed,because management was in the room. I wonder what they were thinking? Has no imagination,no drive. Just biding his time until management gets winds and boots his ass.

Worked with him a few years ago. Nice guy,but that is as far as it goes. Personality like a brick.

I had a couple physicians that did not want him in the office. So, I did not take him there.
 






At least he's never done a hatchet job firings his reps like most all of the other weak managers.

Other managers listen to the Stooges and have been firing reps right & left. Stress levels are at all time highs in this division, moral is at an all time low, and someone's looking to point at one of the only managers that sticks up for his rep hires.

Perhaps this is one of the Stooges that started this thread?

Thank you for this post. HW is the only manager who has not bent to Stooge pressure! Believe me, he has put his career on the line to preserve his group. He is the only manager that has balls! Every other manager has sacrificed their people to the Stooge alter. Thank you HW for being a real human being and resisting the devil. We love and admire you!

Approach one or more of his reps. If they are willing to tell you,they will state that he is despised by his reps. Administratively,he is horrible and absentminded. Befuddled to the extreme. Doesn't get the big picture. Extremely critical with absolutely no positive reinforcement. Reps are distressed and have absolutely no motivation to work for him.
Can't remember where his reps cover. He calls them to ask them if they cover a certain area. Stop being lazy and look it up instead of wasting the reps time. He once called a rep and asked if they covered Scraton. If the dip shit looked it up himself. He wound see Scranton is in a different district! Did not want to take the effort.

Recently received horrible reviews by his reps. It's best that he step down and take a position in another division. His division in hoping to God that this happens. It's torture in that district. He has no respect and confidence from them. He'll probably never get it back

Most managers in SP aren't as you are describing. In fact some are great in the workshops I have been part of like JG, BF, BH. Problem is the product (trospium XR) just has no life because it isnt covered and physicians are tired of the frustration.
 






No complaints at all about HW. He is as cool, calm and collected as you'd want a manager to be. You should be so so lucky to be managed buy a regular guy. All of the other managers are punks and being directed by the Stooges to put reps on PIP programs and create useless stress.

My oh Myyou attended a workshop sugarplum? I guess then you know everything. Let me tell you something little red riding hood, are you aware that 25 % of this sales force is performace improvement plan? If you don't believe me ask Curly or Larry. You are right Santura XR is not available on plans in most states, so why are they destroying the reps? Account management is not on a performance program, but they are responsible for the dismal performance for formulary. JG, BF and BH are taking this out on their sales reps. It's criminal and you're naive. Challenge me!!!
 




































OK Guys... Please respond with some real answers. Obviously the DM is African A but this does not mean he is looking for a black person to fill this territory. That's a ridiculous comment to make. I have known two black managers during my career who rarely hired other blacks. It is my understanding this is a high performing territory, so why was the rep let go? Just want to make sure this DM does not have some over inflated ego and/or power control freak who will get rid of a high performing rep because the DM felt threaten in some way or is a nightmare that absolutely no one wants to work for! AND I DO NOT CARE ABOUT the rep's RACE. REAL ANSWERS PLEASE!!!
 






The rep sued the company as a whistle blower. Read the other posts about 600mil lawsuit. I can't believe he was still here. Doctors did not like him very much. Nobody will talk about what happened. Maybe he finally left after he got the $ In the past he was on a PIP. If PIP said he needed to be number 10 and he was 30 maybe they canned him. Who cares? job is open and HW is a good guy to work for. He won't breath down your neck
