guess the street isn't impressed with today's purchase nor with MT's speech this morning. The famous strategy of buying a very niche product skyrocketing its purchase price has grown old. As the old saying goes I've learned I can get by on charm and looks for 10 minutes after that I better have something.

WOW! Listening to the TKS/Malli conference call you might actually think this is going to be good for the employees. The only people this is going to benefit are MR and ST. Thanks for nothing!

this place is leaderless and lacking direction unless you think increasing prices and continually cutting a sales force constitutes great leadership and strategy. Btw stock mired in slump with very little movement.

SO, VALEANT BUYS A COMPANY AND RAISES THE PRICE OF GENERICS, ISUPREL AND NITROPRESS OVER 800%. SOUND FAMILIAR? NO WONDER THE PHARMA INDUSTRY HAS GOTTEN A BAD NAME. TIRED OF THE PRESIDENTS/BOARDS OF THESE COMPANIES GETTING AWAY WITH THIS CRAP! I WORK IN THE INDUSTRY AND IT'S TIME FOR ME TO BAIL. CONGRESS WILL COME DOWN HARD ON THESE PIECE OF CRAP COMPANIES AND THE ONES WHO WILL GET HURT WILL BE THE REPS...... AGAIN.

Congress won't do a thing, the Pharma companies contribute too much money to their campaign funds. Whistle blowers are the only semi-effective way to rein in big pharma and even that has its limits. When it comes down to it, if the benefits of breaking the law and selling a product out weigh the penalties guess what the company will do? There are plenty of examples.
