GSK & Vesicare contract

Dear Astellas Managers,

GSK rep here. First time ever posting on CafePharma and never thought I would do this. However, just thought you would like to know that every GSK rep I know and even those I meet at meetings are faking Vesicare calls. I am sick and tired of reps bragging at meetings that they just check the box and managers telling them "just do what ever it takes to make the numbers." This industry is such a joke and the fact companies even enter into these contracts for making a "number of calls" is simply a lack of true leadership. Hell-this industry really has no true leadership. I am just at my wits end like some many other reps in this industry with idiotic rules and regulations for the sales force.

I would like to turn in GSK for this behavior but I have no concrete proof. Like most of our companies, they would never put something in writing and leave a paper trail. It is just a sad state of affairs all around. Astellas should simply terminate the contract immediately instead of making an announcement so far in advance. GSK reps do not care about this product and neither does management.

Just thought I would let you all know that this is happening and you should terminate this contract and not pay GSK a dime. GSK is ripping you off.
 






Not a single doubt in my mind. I'm sure there are some exceptions... but no many. What Managers and the Management seems to lose touch with every year.... reps will put their efforts into exactly what you pay them for in IC. If a product is a low %....it gets low attention/passion PERIOD! Read it... Know it... This is a FACT

There is a lot of truth here in your statement. But I wouldn't be concerned that GSK is ripping of astellas since astellas is run by a bunch of incompetent clowns slao. Corrupt management here at astellas is the equal or better of GSk management when it comes to corruption and incompetence.
