The people who may have talent and maybe some sense of ethics probably don't want to capitalize on something like a takeover where they really weren't able to contribute. The cronies like that PR gal who probably know they have the best deal of their life are gonna stay until the end.

What about the executives who have nothing to do but are vultures off employees and stockholders by staying on and collecting their salaries and just waiting for the huge payday in a takeover? I know GM wasn't an executive and maybe he would have stayed on if was, but maybe he wouldn't.
