It didn't stop at the CEO, everyone was greedy! No one ever mentioned helping patients. It was always about making money. Getting scripts equals getting $$$$. While that's true, and this is a business, you have to remember the real reason we have this job. And that is to help people with very high trigs. This company never mentioned that. Think about the launch meeting. There wasn't even a whisper about helping people, it was all about the VP and him putting all his eggs in one basket. I should have known to run from Amarin because during all three of my interviews, I felt like I was being sold on the idea of Amarin, it was like they were still trying to convince themselves that this was a good idea. Sad day yesterday, but it was exactly what I expected.
