Great news re Merck Contract

Yeah, that is weird. I heard it from a co-worker. Then asked DM to confirm. Well Just glad cause i love this gig. its perfect for me and my family so I am grateful regardless of how I found out.
um...from what I heard on VM, there was no language in the message which gave a specific extension period...2 years, 1 year, 6 months, etc. All that was mentioned was that Merck has approved and will continue the partnership with Publicis for the EPBU. No mention of raises...no mention of 2 years extension...nothing. So, take it for what it is...
Exactly right...all it really means is that the numbers are good enough to not end the contract early.
My DM said 2 yr extension and looking at the raises for June.
Whats the FT people being paid there? Get cars and bennies?
there are no full time people on this contract except DMs. All reps are part time.

Can anyone give feedback on the Merck part-time contract? What product, training, pay etc.?
Merck contract is a very good one. They have made our bonus structure a very good one and is very fair. It is a part time flex time job. Products are Avelox, Nasonex, Maxalt, clainex and Proventil HFA. Training was pretty intense with 3 weeks home study and one week away. It is a very good job. Love it. Happy to hear it is going to be an ongoing contract with Merck.
