that's one of the craziest things i have ever heard of a company doing! is there any trust in the reps? why would mngt do that? what about weekends and time off???...are they traking your every move during your personal time??????
 






If you're in your company vehicle...your being tracked...weekends , evenings, etc. It's their company, their vehicle, but its bound to have a backlash on morale, turnover and ultimatley sales..but hey 1800petmeds can just make up the loss.
 






Hey, grow up. Their car = their rules. Don't like it? Leave. Stop threatening to go and just fooking do it. I'm soooo sick of hearing about it. Here's a tip...go to work. Stop trying to cover your ass while you're slacking off. Those who are so concerned about it are mainly concerned because they are going to get caught up in the web on lies they have weaved for several years. Maybe the reason they have to track reps is because of the pattern reps have developed.
 












Yeah, right. Always the law suit threat. Don't you think Merial has already thought of that? We can't even send a fax without an LQA approved cover sheet for God's sake! There won't be any lawsuits, just people leaving for less annoying companies.

Yeah, right. Web of lies for several years my ASS!!! If I wasn't performing do you think I would have been around for several years? What happened to treating your employees like adults? No work = no numbers = no job. It's a simple equation, really. Does anyone give a shit if I'm tossing back peanuts at the circus all day if I can somehow manage to get sales in? However unlikely it is, no one would really care.

and I thought Ft Dodge was the worst company to work for - their reps don't have the GPS's - we are the laughing stock of the industry - I had a doctor call me today to ask about the the GPS device - he had been told by a Bayer rep and could not believe the story. He lost a lot of respect for the company - Big Brother is here!
 
























I just hire a guy to drive my work car all day and ping. Just give them a list of addresses and a gps and then a time to sit at each one and for 100$'s I get a free day off work!....But at least I called on 10 accounts.
