GPA VERIFICATION please help!

How long ago did you graduate?

It might not matter.

For many purposes, GPA can be interpreted in different ways. For example, courses that may have been repeated (not necessarily the same course) can be reason to throw out a few bad grades. I have seen this happen before my very eyes.

Good luck!

I stated that my GPA was a 3.0 and it was really a 2.85... can someone please tell me if they will require official transcripts?

This will be bad on you -- might be considered prevarication or lying. Best thing to do is to take a coursework and make it 3.2. All you need is an A in one subject...American Civics or Golf. Do not make same mistake other place or you will be banned from any further consideration everywhere. Rememebr, nowadays people spill beans on linkedin, monster, and shitbook.

Sorry but your screwed. I wouldn't even waste your time interviewing. Lilly requires an 'official' college transcript. They will see you lied and you will 100% be disqualified. It's too bad because if you just told the truth you would have been fine. I guess you'll get what you deserve, lesson learned I hope....

i graduated 3 years ago. damn i messed up. im going to have my first f2f too

Just another rite of passage. You should have a 4.00 like all of the Nobel Laureates that work for Lilly. Then you would be perfect. Then, you would have a job, and lose all your hair and get prescriptions for propecia and minoxodil and hair implants and buy your wife an overpriced house and all manner of expensive trinkets just to get a little peace at night before you toss and turn for hours before waking up with huge black bags under your eyes.

You're missing it all, kid.

Fuck that transcript - just tell another bigger lie and do whatever it takes to get around the GPA question. Show them your sheepskin and sell them on why GPA doesn't matter - blame someone else, tell them the registrars office made a mistake on a bunch of students....class action lawsuits still pending, etc.. Lie lie lie all you can. Anything for the job!!! GO BABY GO!!!!!!!!!!!!! SELL SELL SELL!!!!!!!! DO YOU HAVE BIG TITS?

Also mathematically you can ARGUE.

2.85 out of 4.0? Nope. Wong answer. It should have been rounded to 2.9.
2.85 out of 4.00. Yes that is ok. Then your 3.0 is a mistake you admit.

Of course, what is in the transcript will matter little if you can be slick and persuasive. In one artifice, you could say that in the first year (or when you got two Cs), you were stressed as family splitting and / or you had been ill for one month in Mexico while being a tourist, and affected your grades. You had suffered pseudocholera (caused by Pseudocholera vibrio).

Show that you can effectively lie, and come on top of the situation. That type of weiners the company will not let go by.

Good luck, and stay in over all positive territory except the cholera. Just to make sure, do not use cholera, but figure out some tropical disease...since your interviewer might read this...veiling and anonymity is quintesential for this kind of gaffes.
