Government VA jobs

I'm wondering what people are hearing about the VA expansion. Sounds like government contract decision has been pushed out so hopefully they will start interviewing soon. Do you all think this would be a good gig, any compensation estimates? Thanks!

Sadly OI has become a desperate bottom feeder of the industry. As a former employe of 5 years who hit my ridiculous numbers 4 out of those 5, I have FAR too many colleagues who have been there longer than I was that have been in the top 5 and 10 positions of the company consistently throughout their careers only to have their territory cut or numbers so inflated that they became un attainable. After all they have done to bring terrific revenue to the company, they are put on plan or just outright fired for someone hired for half the salary so they can burn that person out and fire them after 2-3 years max.... And start the process again... Just such a sad transition of what was a great company. No more I assure you... Do not take a position here unless you make it a stop gap to finding something else. If you are a professional you should be treated like one. DO NOT SETTLE.

Why are they continuing to hire a new federal salesforce when they just had layoffs? Any idea if this gig is worth it?
