Yea I got mine too. Why didn't they just direct deposit it? I got the sev check, edu payment, and bravo points card. Now to go spend it all!

The company messenger delivered mine. Said he wouldve had it to me sooner but it slipped between his seat. I'm gonna put in a pool with my money!

Made a copy & framed mine on a triple matted acid free backing since I started a new job 8 months ago .

Did the severance check include the additional payout for unused vacation time or will that be paid via a separate check?

I am assuming that I will be compensated for 4 unused vacation days from 2010 plus 2 days earned in January and 2 days earned in February. You earn vacation days per the following formula: 10% of annual vacation earned per work month with at least one day worked during that month. Vacation days are accrued looking at the year from January thru October. So for those who normally get 2 weeks of vacation per year, you earn 1 day per month in every month worked at least one day, 3 weeks per year and you earn 1.5 days per month, and 4 weeks per year and you earn 2 days per month (November and December are not counted).

I call BS on this thread! Severance checks are not sent out till the end of FEB. Plus, you have direct deposit! Not actual checks!

The other dude is right. I called HR and the severance payment goes out at the same time as payroll at the end of Feb. They said probably on the 26th.

From what I understood they were to be sent/deposited/whatever Feb 7.

According to the HR Connect Hotline (866-471-7837) the Enhanced Severance will be paid on February 26, 2011.
