Did the severance check include the additional payout for unused vacation time or will that be paid via a separate check?
I am assuming that I will be compensated for 4 unused vacation days from 2010 plus 2 days earned in January and 2 days earned in February. You earn vacation days per the following formula: 10% of annual vacation earned per work month with at least one day worked during that month. Vacation days are accrued looking at the year from January thru October. So for those who normally get 2 weeks of vacation per year, you earn 1 day per month in every month worked at least one day, 3 weeks per year and you earn 1.5 days per month, and 4 weeks per year and you earn 2 days per month (November and December are not counted).
