Most of his numerous emails are negative and nasty. Field rides...I've had 2 in two weeks....8-5. Has his laptop out all day in the car.....grilling you constantly.

I have had a nut job DM for 4 1/2 years. He is married with 2 kids. He does not "allow" his wife to call him during business hours. Honestly, she is probably glad he is gone for 8+ hours a day. I thought I could outlast this PoS, but our team keeps getting smaller and the field visits keep getting more frequent. I don't know how much longer I can stand it. I am praying he gets promoted!
Wow, shocking. He works a full day instead of yacking on the phone with his wife and he comes out in the field to work with you to see if you are doing your job????? You have got to be kidding. We are all crying for you as we read these pitiful words on our computer screens.

Companies make A LOT off of our efforts…that is the only reason they pay us reasonably well. But, considering our education and experience, we are underpaid…and should be given more when you think about the micromanagement and BS we put up with on a daily basis.
There are not many smart people out there that can put up with the BS we put up with, and have to deal with doctors that are annoying, sort of like your post.
Typical entitlement mentality. You are an over-paid monkey. You have one of the easiest jobs in the world. If you don't like it, go get a job that fits your qualifications (mall worker, fast food service person, taxi cab driver, etc.).
Telling someone the truth does not him a jerk. Instead, lying about it would make someone a jerk.You are a jerk, but, sadly, you are correct
