What does one make of a governor who in 2011 flatly tells respected representative group of his state’s black legislators that “I don’t need your people?” This is the same governor who blew off the Southern Christian Leadership Conference’s invitation to attend the tenth annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration while he was in the city.

Yet another GOPer shows his true 'colors'. Kasich has since tried to spin his remarks and unring the bell, but his record shows otherwise. I can only imagine the ConClown outrage here on CP if a black Dem Governor had said the same thing about white lawmakers.

Bottom line is that the GOP does not need the black vote to win elections. They never have. The democrats need the black vote to win elections which is why they go to such great efforts to keep them on the democrat plantation.

The GOP only has 10 seats to defend in 2012. The demalqeudacrats have 23

The GOP only has to pick up four seats in 2012 to take control of the US Senate.

The math ain't in your favor bitch.

If you want to retain the supreme court you care Scalia and Kenndy who are both 74 and conservative judges would have to hang on til they're 80. The supreme court is way more important than retaining the senate or house they flip all the time all the marbles are in the supreme court right now, and both Kennedy and Scalia already have health issues they won't last til 2016. Obama could appoint three more judges because Gisnburg is 76 as well, he would then have 5 judges all in their 50's the court wouldn't flip for a looooong time after that.
