With the exception of SFG, none of the people on that list have I ever heard of, and I've been in this industry for ten years, the last six in biotech. I've made some changes and I've seen a lot of good jobs come and go. If you really want a GOOD job in this industry, enroll for medreps.com or healthcarereps.com. You have to pay a little, but the jobs there are worth it and the recruiters on those sites better than anything posted on CP. Also, resumeblasters are a waste of money. You'll see those companies posting on here all the time, don't do it.

whatever -- healthcarereps.com has maybe - mabye 10 employers and recruites who post jobs there. I'm going to roll the dice with a resume blasting service. I'm a recruiter in the industry and don't know anyone that uses healthcare reps besides bisonnette.

So you didn't mention medreps.com. They have thousands of job postings, most from reputable recruiters and their companies. Still, $20 a year is cheaper than your shitty resumeblaster service.

How does MedReps.com work? I've heard that recruiters post jobs on this site that don't exist. Is that true?

Don't get your hope up with medreps.com I have been a member for two years and in two years I HAVE NEVER..NEVER,...NEVER gotten a response from ANY job postings. I am very experienced in my field. OR Surgical, number 1 rep, trainer, award winner, Management, trainer. Neuro, Surg Onc etc...

I think Medreps is a scam. It does give you an idea of whats in your area. You will probably have to track the company down yourself.

I worked with an awesome recruiter at the end of last year. Her name is Jade Monahan and she is based in Boston, but has positions available all over the US. She worked for J&J before becoming a recruiter and she actually GETS BACK TO YOU! She is at jmonahan@locksearchgroup.com or 617.227.2612 office.

She was even working full time and helping me with my interviews while going through chemo treatment for lymphoma. She's amazing!

I'm a medical device rep and subscribe to both medreps and healthcarereps...
I've gotten two call backs from posts on healthcarereps and calls from two recruiters who say they saw my resume on the site. I'm on my second interview with Cytec and am very happy with their service. I have applied to 6 jobs on medreps in the last three weeks alone with no response. Some of the comp packages look too good to be true, so don't get your hopes up.
