Just left national sales meeting......looks like j&j will be buying boston.....I hope it doesn't because I will probably lose my job....but I will say this...if this happens you guys are fucked.....cordis will have three different drugs on the best alloy and stent design the market has ever seen....xience prime is a joke....the Europeans actually prefer your current design over the new design.....you will no longer be in the game. It will be between medtronic and J&J. Yes, I know that endeavor sucks but their new stent will be better than xience..better find a job....

Where did you hear about the Cordis / Boston deal? Interesting that JNJ would buy Boston considering JNJ really doesnt even have a stent right now. Why would JNJ have gotten rid of all there Cardiology reps when they would be selling Promus and Taxus? I hope it happens but just sounds a little far fetched.

Don't you get it? They got rid of their reps because Boston has reps in place already. Don't even have to train them. They already know all the products.

We're next...layoffs happened in the pharma side, dissolving some territories every few months, 5-6 territories a quarter is the same as 20-30 laid off (take coronary and endo beginning and ending headcounts....38 fewer over 2009's number) and all we are now is just a pharma co with a few toys....okay, a lot of toys....that are FAO Schwartz priced in a WalMart world.
