Goal drop 1/13/22– the truth

Some got 30-35% increases for ozempic, some got 20-25% increases
Employees raised so much hell, IC dept made up a lie wrong employee number to IC - that is a new one. So, they are furiously working to find a lower goal for the field. think about it, we can’t hit current goals. Then we get a 30% increase… on top of all of that we can’t meet supply at the pharmacy still.. a cvs today in south had 46 patients waiting in que for ozempic..supply still not right.
novo is a real loser
Think about all of this. Should I even start on wegovy …….that is a whole other story

Wegovy goals are 40% and that’s portfolio, meaning we have to growth off of Saxenda and Wegovy combined, which makes it even harder. And we’re already running out of supply 2 weeks in.

Pure greed.

There’s a top number promised to Copenhagen. You can hit this higher sales goal by raising prices, increasing goals or both. Do you really think raising prices in this environment will work? Looks like goals will have to go up. From decades of experience, the goals are never raised just enough to meet the top number promised. There’s a fudge factor. Raise goals 130%; then if you come in only 95% of goal, that’s still enough to hit the top end goal. You may or may not make bonus money, but the execs come out smelling like a rose. Good luck in 2023.

The bottom line is novo couldn’t hit supply level for last POA goals, now they are raising goals 20-35%
Novo couldn’t fill volume goals of 8/22. How will novo hit supply volume goals of 3/23 which is 40% higher than 6-8 months ago. Simple-,supply will not be there folks.
Rybelsus is the only hope for IC ….the winners with ozempic will be metro territories with supply, that simple

All the obesity reps who were doing the right thing and only calling on our top 25 hit list abandoned ship this week. With 38% goal increase we can not wait till February to take off.
That went out the window midweek. Go as fast as you can to everyone.
The machine will be broken again.

this is 100% accurate. company is telling us the pharmacies are stocked, yet there is no stock in our area. volume absolutely tanking, providers being forced to switch to other therapies and we are hit with >30%. There should have been absolutely no increase this quarter, none.

We continue to struggle with this. Pharmacies are out constantly. We checked 10 pharmacies and all of them were either on back order or not orderable.

Please STOP spreading lies!! Go start trouble on another company thread!
Where is the lie? This is the absolute truth. In my territory, there was not a single starter dose to be found at any pharmacy this week. How am I supposed to grow 30%? There were only a handful of the 2 higher doses. Every single office I went into started complaining about lack of product the moment I walked in. It’s a disaster. And our leadership couldn’t care less. They’re laughing all the way to the bank.

same here in our state. drs are being forced to switch to other therapies, unable to start any new pts since there is no starting dose. if there is some there is a huge queue of pts waiting for it. pharmacy tool shows everything is normal, nothing to see here.

Wow! Sales reps bitching about their goals. Who ever thought that would happen!!?? We’re less than 3 weeks into the POA and you’re already making excuses about why you won’t hit goal and whose fault it will be when you don’t. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that you’ve never complained that your goals were too LOW, right? When you hit 130% in a POA, it’s because you’re amazingly awesome, but when you end up at 91%, it’s all because of someone else’s mistakes, right?

Why not just accept that you’re in sales, acknowledge that someone else sets your goals, and go sell something? Crying like a little bitch just makes you look pathetic. Either get out of sales or get to work.

If supply wasn’t an issue, the goals wouldn’t be an issue , we can’t hit the goals bc supply can’t hit the goals
It was been this way since 7/1/2022
FACT

FACT:
Novo Nordisk is pleased to report that all dose strengths of Wegovy® are now available to retail pharmacies nationwide. However, pharmacies may experience normal delays given the time required to order the product from their local distribution center, and geographical variabilities.

Simple-
Novo set volume goals their production cannot match …that is it. Done.
We are all screwed if your portfolio includes a needle and you don’t live in a major city. try to make you ic on Rybelsus

New poster here….clearly you don’t work in sales. The issue is….how can you make or possibly exceed goals when no product is available to get patient started, sample wise or in the pharmacy? Company says sell 10 widgets…..yet we have 1 physically to provide. Understand the math now? Exactly how is this an excuse??? Of course we are upset. Every single call, every single pharmacy conversation revolves around the fact that they CAN NOT PRESCRIBE our products because the patient has zero access to it, they are frustrated. Patients are frustrated. The field is frustrated. How exactly is this the fields fault? Again, how is this an excuse? No product available = not hitting goals. And why would we not be upset. They are setting us up for failure.
