This amino acid is just wonderful (only those with mania and diabetes are discouraged from supplementation). Not only is it a mild stimulant (take only before 3 p.m., between meals only, 1-10 gram/day), but it also promotes GI tract health, counteracts hypoglycemia, prevents muscle tissue wasting during strenuous exercise, and deters up to 80% of habitual alcohol consumers. And it's cheap, just a few bucks a month. Move over, Cymbalta.
Has Lilly done anything with Glutamine analogs? I realize that Glutamine itself cannot be patented because God beat us to it, but one would think that analogs might be more specific, more potent, or both.
