How smart is it to stimulate heathy pancreas with mega doses for temporary weight loss? These GLP1s are synthetic for long term stimulation of pancreas. Hopefully, you will need your pancreas until old age. Do you think it is healthy for maximum long term stimulation for such a delicate organ as the pancreas? Why not just eat less and exercise. These products are ridiculous. Pharmaceutical executives will cash stock options and disappear.

Sanofi not only pulled their GLP1 from the market but they pushed their reps to sell against theirselves by pushing Toupee, the Patton extension product to overtake Lantus when it was actually inferior in ways but with a much bigger price tag. I was one of those reps that couldn't stand selling Toujeo and felt like the sleaziest car salesperson trying to execute Sanofi's plan. Thank God I was able to transfer out of that sales team back in 2017. Sanofi should be ashamed and honestly so should the reps that continued to sell that lie while cheering each other on. My manager at the time in NC who was actually very highly thought of showed his true colors when it came to what's really best for patients. He didn't care insulin at the time was playing a big part in breaking the bank. He just cared about another PClub. He left shortly after I did and finally retired but not for giving me all kinds of hell for not being all in with Toujeo even though I knew it was not better than Lantus. Great example of being part of the reason HCP's are so leery to trust reps.

GLP1s stimulate pancreas to make and store insulin. These are synthetic molecules that work for weeks. Natural GLP1 work for minutes. Studies compare to placebo diabetics. Diabetics have increased risk of pancreatitis. When millions use the drugs for weight loss how will they compare vs health placebo? There is a connection between pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer. I guess it does not matter because executives will cash stock options and disappear. Everyone else fired.

Insulin in diabetics is great because it gives sick pancreas a vacation. Why make pancreas work harder with Synthetic GLP1s. Mega doses of long acting synthetic GLP1s for temporary weight loss is ridiculous. Executive team gets very rich everyone else fired. Lawyers get rich too! Where is FDA?

GLP1 stimulates pancreas to produce and store insulin. Natural GLP1 lasts for minutes. Diabetics have increased risk of pancreatitis. Pancreatitis has increased risk of pancreatic cancer. Weight loss is a side effect caused by slowed gastric emptying. GLP1 studies usually have diabetic placebo control showing no increased risk of pancreatitis. Remember diabetes have more pancreatitis.

How will mega doses of very long acting synthetic GLP1 affect heathy pancreas compared to healthy populations? Does it make since to maximum stimulate healthy pancreas with mega doses to achieve temporary weight loss? The pancreas is a delicate organ and pancreatic cancer is one of the most deadly. GLP1 mega dose for weight loss is ridiculous!!!

C suite will get very rich with stock options. Representatives fired. Lawyers get rich too.
 



The benefit against fatty liver and cardiac events is appealing. Getting off a life long statin is appealing. Now they’re even saying it could help you live longer. Sanofi needs to get their drug back on the market. It’s studied to help in the HIV population as well as blood pressure and kidney disease. I’m sure the list goes on.
