Give us our own rooms!!

Really!!?? With all of the stuff going on and speculation of layoffs, the least Novartis could do is give us our own hotel rooms at meetings! Don't you guys get that this is a lawsuit waiting to happen? We are adults. Treat us that way or at least humor us! Take note from other large pharma companies that have realized how absurd it is to have grown adults "rooming together". We are not 10 year olds at summer camp for God sake. Don't blame me when I am late to a morning meeting because my "roommate" was having relations in the bed next to me or stumbling around the room all night drunk. Not my problem.
 






This unhealthy reality began with Novartis. Those of us who were Senior Ciba-Geigy reps who always had our own rooms found ourselves at the first meeting when we were hijacked as Novartis sharing rooms with complete strangers. It has been hell since. When adults are forced to share rooms just because management wants to stay in a (slightlly) more expensive facility, once again the complete disregard for the sales force is evident

Just book your own room and pay for it from parking.
 
























With all the D & I training we now get, and lawsuits......if rooms are to be shared, there should be no gender separation. From this one legal perspective Novartis should give individual rooms. This just asks for another lawsuit.
