Is Gilead now targeting IS position? Are Managers now putting heat on the IS reps for low Goal attainment?

It just seems suspicious that last year's p-club IS winner takes the trip, and leaves right after.

Next the LR IS suddenly leaves to pursue other opportunities.

Lastly the IS in NO suddenly gone as well!

Are there any other IS reps that are being pressured to hit unrealistic goals?

The IS is a waste anyway. They seem to forget they are Institutional and just tag along with the TS to office based practices ... or try to edge the TS out - dump them all. They are redundant.

Gilead is a joke of a company. Some have left, some fired......all trying to leave. Puppets leading puppets have finally caught up to Gilead. Lack of leadership is killing the company. Treating people like garbage is commonplace. Other companies continually taking top reps away, leaving more puppets down the ladder. Manager puppets scared to speak up and willing to throw reps under buses to protect their income. It is a joke!

The Pclub winner in Indy was worthless, as was the New Orleans IS that was canned. The LR IS was great from what i hear, but left for a better opportunity outside of pharma. Nothing seems out of place here?

Only one IS out of 30 even at or above goal for Q1? Seems like alot is out of place, like IS goals! Who would possibly ever take that thankless job?

Yes they are..... Just go get a job at J&J selling Xarelto, they pay better and you don't have to travel as much. Also their management team is so much better then this pathetic excuse.....

Only 1 IS? Try only about 4 or 5 people in the entire IHD sales force! You would think that would tell management something about their ability to forecast goals. One day they will stop worrying about how to PIP someone and concentrate on positive things...oh..I forgot this is Gilead. I wonder what the turnover rate is right now and the cost to continually bring new people in to the organization.

I bet the LR Manager is lost without MO. What an moron! Perfect for Gilead. I think he came over in the CVT buyout, but he definitely has the lack of ability and "asskissability" that will lead to success here.

LR Mgr does miss MO. MO was a great IS, teammate and great person!!! The IS position needs a complete overhaul. The IS IC needs to change from the 75% 25% to 100% territories payout. The payout curves needs to change and there needs to be a job description for the IHD IS position. I heard MO actually was granted an exit interview that lasted for 90 minutes. But at no time did Gilead try to keep him by countering.

the IS is the sweetest job here. I would like all the TS's to please stop complaining and get back to work and make me some money so I can relax at home. You guys are doing a great job call on our targets ;)

ahhh ...... relaxing.

I do too.

Clearly you aren't in sales. MM's Q1 metrics amounted to a double zero to the house. It wasn't just PC members that got screwed. No one I know (even the precious few over 100%) is satisfied with Q1 IC. SB said last year's Q1 and Q2 goals were understated, but these are somehow NOT overstated? Anyone else find the changes in goals, calculating formula, and IC structure a little fishy? NOBODY made good money Q1. Hence the exodus. Well, that, and all the BS initiatives and the draconian reign of mangers without management degrees, but the gigantic egos of doctors.

I don't think they care. It's ll about the investor and angling for the best company value for when we are gobbled up by one of the big fish. I'm sure Gilead thinks they could replace reps with My Ranexa Experience, Speak From the Heart,Ranexa.com and teleconferences. Good luck with that...

I agree with that, how many programs must we have? don't get me started on the p2p conf, those go over great. call, mute, put phone in bag. We have some good reps and if they aren't careful, they will go elsewhere.

As an IHD rep, I think we all need to understand the goals are NOT going to change. Gilead put alot of NUTS toward this franchise and our success is intrinsic to Q on Q growth going forward.

As being swallowed up by a "BIG FISH", not sure there is a company in this climate that can afford a company with a $31B market cap. Pfizer just announced shaving $1B off thier operating costs so don't expect them to be one of the players.

LETS GO SELL and BE FORTUNATE WE ARE WORKING FOR GILEAD! CVT would have been gravely under water at this point with significantly less resources to work with.

speaking of under water..... all those wonderful options!!

LETS GO SELL "RISE" and sell. your new model!

I think it is more probable that Gilead spins off part or all of cardiopulm franchise and not get swallowed by a bigger fish. With all of the recent acquisitions the company is heading down the oncology road and continuing the antiviral and hep.

management is so busy trying to prove their worth with great ideas like replacing reps. flatten the organization. too many managers doing nothing but trying to find fault. reps have always been and always will be the key to selling product. management - get over it!!
LONG LIVE THE REP!
