Yes lower your salary expectations. The criteria kicks out those whose requirements are above 80k. If you are from big pharma trying to become gainfully employed again, you will have to take a pay cut. If they think you will be always looking for another gig with a higher salary they won't hire you. They want those that accept the fact that the salary is lower than what you might receive from a direct company. I hope this helps you.

I never tell any recruiter what I was making. Only if there is a job offer. They will press you, and I resist that pressure.

Wrong fucko. If you "resist that pressure" to give your salary you are screened. Get over yourself, there are thousands of unemployed sample jockeys like you that will work for anything. You hold no power dimwit.
 






Oh, boy..skilled sales people having trouble negotiating a big time salary with a CSO...please everybody try this Google the question "Job interview, salary question" plenty of good replies there on how to negotiate this point, not look stupid and more importantly move forward in the interview...

Yes if you made big $$ in Big Pharma you're going to make less (that's why you're not in big pharma anymore...you were overpaid there, the company figured that out finally)
 












Find a ventive rep on linked in that is in sales... I believe there may be a "atta boy" if someone moves your name fwd and you get hired. Or find one of the recruiters.

I like to give ranges over the phone....and in interviews.... "yeah I have accepted positions as low as $5.05 an hr with huge bonus, and 100K with no bonus..." "I would imagine this position pays somewhere between the 2... "
