GET READY FOR A BIG ANNOUNCEMENT THIS WEEK (JOE DARLING)

That is just a stupid statement - what in the world makes you believe that Joe would move from FL to Utica, NY? Would it be the snow and freezing temperatures in January or the higher state income tax? Stop wasting your time with such stupid statements.

Maybe because ALL of his family is up their and he wants to return where he grew up. I dont care if you believe me or not but just watch and see.

I'm sure he has no intentions on showing up for work anyway.

The way this company has been keepingthe masses in the dark for the pst two years, they might not put out an announcement that the King has left the builing....oh wait he was never there anyway. What I meant was that Joe is no longer at the helm....uh that was up for debate too. Anyway that Joe went away.

Numbers of people who were with the company for a long time, well respected, and very imnportant have left recently and that has been kept hush hush.

We will see.

There is no doubt that good talent has left this company. However, that said, your comment/information or whatever you want to call is was wrong. Kinda similar to the 2012 forecast for the world; believed by simple minds with nothing else better to do.

Having worked at Linvatec, I suspect that the org change was made, but they forgot to announce it to the worker bees.

I left Linvatec last year, seeing the handwriting on the wall, and now have a far better position with another company. It is sad to now see the number of Linvatec resumes coming across my desk, employees trying to get out while they can. Not understanding why some good employees are fired and musch of the dead wood remains, they question whether they could be next. Cause of the problems or not, Joe has certainly presided over the worst downturn of the company. He was a non participant from my middle management viewpoint, unlike Gerald Woodard, who made his goals and views known. Gerald also listened to our views and concerns.

I wouldn't disagree with those comments; GW was far and above a better leader and manager then the current executive team. JD desires to become a factor in sports medicine which isn't a bad goal; however, he's lost site of the major capital business that was the driving factor and the main reason why Linvatec was a growing company. Too much talent has left, too many inexperienced marketing reps and outside of sports medicine, no real company wide direction.

That's unbelievable what do the people in Utica see in this guy? Well, the only good news in this is that perhaps it will reduce the time he has to spend on driving Linvatec down the road to failure.

Should we take this a good news or bad news?
I always thought that the captain went down with the ship? Or, is in this case, the rats are leaving before it sinks?
I guess conmed wants it's other divisions to start losing money and personel as well.

What idiots. Joe does not reside in Florida, never has. Never moved from Chicago. On the rare occassions that he is in Florida, he just stays with his parents in Clearwater.

OK, so what is Joe's new position? I left Linvatec, and find my contacts not talking about this.

It is true that we rarely saw Joe Darling around the faciltiy or even in the executive offices. Maybe he has been holding down more than one job!
