The head of sales already chose his preferred candidates and is telling sales leaders who they should be hiring. Sounds like a real great culture

I heard they were encouraged to hire nurses. Good luck! Nurses lack the ambition and tenacity to sell. Many of the nurses at my company are riding the coattails of the reps.

Nurses don't generally work out in sales but if they have huge knockers and like to party they can help "round" out a team!

And the only thing they are comfortable talking about are AE's...also they are more or less trained to not challenge a physician every so there is that...

Hardly uninformed. I've worked with two nurse educators in my current role and the only appointments they've gotten have come from my introduction. Not once has either of them gotten into an account on their own! I literally just spoke with an APP Friday that recently took a sales role and she commented on how strange the change has been. I can think of one PA that was an educator that was actually an asset to my team. She would have done well in sales, most others would not!
