Sorry to crash your board. I am interviewing with Genzyme Genetics and was wondering how Labcorp competes with them. Is it head to head, do you kick their ass, do they kick yours? I am coming from a small biotech Oncology position. Honest answers please. Thanks in advance.

Who win's now is the smart people who have or will leave GG, and are forming a new company, and that LabCorp will have to to purchase or compete and lose too you pompous jack*ss.
morale at GG is awful. Many people have left and I'm sure more are leaving. We all understand what's going on. We're now routing business through LC to make it "easier" on the clients but meanwhile it seems as though we're phasing ourselves out. I am so dissappointed with the way things have turned out.
The LC people I have met seem to be nice but unfortunately for us I just don't like where this is headed.

Yes, but they are still in Monrovia, aren't they? After the last round of layoffs, I heard that they would be moving south. Have they moved to Santa Ana yet?
That is why I am considering working for Counsyl Genetics. It looks like GG was yrs ago. Very impressive.
