Dear Managers, Genie programs are only put in place because you require us do them. They have little to no benefit but, seem to be mandatory, even when you say they are not. If we did not have to do them, we would do them in places, if and when we needed them only, which would be more cost effective. Most programs are completed to meet a goal, not for a educational purposes.

Oh really? If it weren't for the Genie metrics, you would stay home all day. At least we can monitor you thru these programs. Be careful, no fudging, compliance officer lurking in the distance. Be on the lookout for unannounced audits. It won't be pretty.

This is true, they are required and you will be evaluated on doing them or not. We can't change that, it comes from above.
