Generic Provigil Now in Pharmacies

I'm actually not happy about generic Provigil. I am a patient taking it and personally I don't think it works as well as the brand name. The sad part is that here in Massachusetts the pharmacist said they MUST give the generics if they're available and many times don't have the brand names in stock. Really terrible.
Cephalon was bought by Teva. Teva markets the generic exclusively for 180 days. You are getting the Cephalon product.

Par's initial shipments will comprise generically-labeled presentations of the Provigil® product. Par acquired the U.S. marketing rights to modafinil from Teva in connection with Teva's acquisition of Cephalon in 2011. According to IMS Health data, annual sales in the U.S. for Provigil are approximately $1.1 billion.
