Why is Kowa saying otherwise?? I thought patent ended in 2018. I'm worried.
You should be. Look at all the people who have left this year at the upper level. The writing is on the wall and Lou is just trying to prevent a mass exidious.
Don't you remember the slide deck that Ben showed us at the previous POA of his long term plan he had for Kowa? Many different Diabetes drugs in the pipeline as well as he is looking to expand the Salesforce. I believe in the long term success of Kowa.

I'd like to believe what Ben showed was true but generic companies in the past have found loopholes to go through with branded drugs and have impacted sales forces in a negative way. I'm not sure if I want to wait and see what's going to happen.
1 drug in PIII testing. BTW, it's another effing fibrate... In Japan... And a serious challenge for our only true product (with limited to no MC coverage).

Given the new restrictions on fibrates, I'm not sure what a pimafibrate is going to do in the US marketplace . So are we all going to sell knee braces and coffee? Some real communication is in order now that we have been informed that the sky is falling .
Knee braces and coffee would be an easier sell than Livalo anyway.
