If a generic Exparel makes it too market, it’s over for Zenrelef. Price will be much lower and hospitals will put it on formulary to block us/keep us out.

The manufacturing of liposomal bupivacaine in bundled molecule is a very complex process. Having spent considerable time in their SD it is unlikely there will be a generic EXPAREL in the immediate or distant future.
BTW, any generic will be less than a patented product.
