When is the drug for the hospital division going generic? Isn' t this the worst time to join the company? I was told the patent was extended but needed more information on this.

It is generic as of June. Most people will be gone by December when a number of companies will be selling it....Sandoz, Mylan, are two. Definitely not the time to join Hospira, no matter what they tell you.

New drug in the works? Dyloject?

Whether it is December 26th, sometime sooner or sometime later, the future of this company is not in branded pharmaceuticals. The question for anyone in ACCS is simply is there a future role for the folks in the division and can the products they have now last long enough to reach that future.

You said in your previous posts it was going to be June What happened ? Now you say December and in December you are going to say spring 2015 and so on and so on
Keep guessing and guessing because you are clueless on the subject Your predictions

This really is not a big mystery is it? We struck a deal with Sandoz for them to delay their launch of generic Dex until 12/26. There is a case pending with the FDA for another company to launch a generic before that date using what is being called a "carve out." That outcome is unknown.

After 12/26 we still have the pre-mix exclusively but what that means from a sales and marketing sales point is anyone guess.
