Interviewing for expansion with Dupix. Was looking through this thread but couldn’t find anything recent … a lot of complaints about low salary, bad vacation and poor company car choices.

Can anyone shed some light what base salary range is, targeted ic, vacation and current car choices? Coming from big pharma and currently miserable where I am at ..
and always thought Regeneron paid well with great benefits!

18 PTO, 2 flex days, Christmas shutdown, Aetna benefits that cover almost any procedure or surgery as well as branded RX. I would say pretty good benefits overall.

It’s actually 3 flex days…24 working hours…and, they can be taken in any amount of time (1-8 hours) over multiple different days. Additionally, $50/month for internet, $40/month for car washes, guaranteed stock each year, gym membership paid for, etc., etc. The benefits are great.

thanks everyone for the info!

I am interviewing as well for dupixent expansion and was looking for some info on max base salary, 401K/retirement benefits, sign on bonus if you are leaving money on the table at current company and if the time off you have at current company is greater than what is offered, is there anything to make up for this or is it max 18 days PTO with the flex days? Thank you for any insight. Changing companies for a great opportunity out always sounds good until you look at what you have and then think twice

No, you only have 18 total PTO days to start with zero sick time/personal time. You can not negotiate it. The 3 flex days were just added this year. It was 15 max to start and you don’t get an extra week until year 5.

I left 30 vacation days total ( 4 weeks to start, 5 personal days and after 4yrs you get an extra week at previous company) summer shutdown and a winter shutdown. So, in total i got back winter shutdown and lost 12 PTO days. I gave up that because i felt like the company i was at wasn’t stable. As we all know, pharma is always volatile anywhere, but i feel like Regeneron was a safer choice until i can retire. All the products are best in class and the pipeline looks stellar. So far, this is almost year 4 and I’m happy with my choice. The hope is that Regeneron will add a summer shutdown and provide us with at least 2 more flex/personal days because even our holidays are not in line with those of other pharma companies. Good luck in the process.

Thank you so much for the info. I didn’t think companies were doing summer shutdowns anymore but that would be great if it was added.

If the Regional Director is Felicia Lardgrin, then run. If you look at her the wrong way, she’ll try to ruin your life. Kirk Shrimpee protects her too

You’re delusional if you think Len will authorize a summer shutdown.

It’s a matter of time. True biotech that’s good knows how to retain talent. People want more time off and adding a summer shut-down is one way to do it when its typically only 3 days more if you look at July 4th week which is when Amgen and other companies give this. I know I’ve worked for 3 companies who had two shut downs. For instance, this year we got both the 3rd and 4th off because the holiday was on a Tuesday. So, 3 extra days given to the sale force would go a long way. You have to keep the faith and continue to type this in our survey and hope someone with authority actually reads it. I know as long as I’m here…I‘ll do my part so help us out and do yours.

Signed, all of the Regeneron field sales force.

This is a fact and you will not be able to negotiate vacation time or ms2 because i lost my senior title when i joined here. The bigger issue in my opinion is our data is not accurate and numbers fluctuate so much. Not to mention, the number of meetings is double than any other company I’ve been because of the Sanofi contract. We are seeing people leaving now because it has gotten out of control with redundant calls, meetings before meetings, etc. otherwise, the culture is complete autonomy with majority of managers being hands-offs. The Sanofi hand holding is legit so if you are paired with someone that doesn’t share your work ethic and drive it will be like nails down a chalk board.
