GENENTECH CEO Ashley Magargee emailed employees on Friday 3/15 there will be a layoff of at least 5% from their CMG division within the next two weeks but offered no further details. She then held a town hall on Monday 3/18 to repeat her email live, still gave no further details but told employees to "keep working for the patients. " People's livelihoods are hanging in the balance, the CEO has no answers, but everyone is supposed to carry-on like normal until possibly let go. Someone get Alexander Hardy back at the helm, he would have handled things so much better.

Did they finally get the memo about the death of sales by relationships, courtesy of AI in formulary, EMR, inventory and claims management? There are now few roles in the industry as useless as a sales rep.
