Genentech Is this Selfish? Caring? Trusting? Transparent?

Over 50,000 patients now on Ocrevus x $60,000 a year = $3,000,000,000

Genentech lays off 16 Reps x $150,000 a year = $2,400,000

Isn’t $2,997,600,000 enough to save 16 people’s jobs? ( people also = patients )

$3,000,000,000
$2,400,000

How does Senior Leadership sleep at night? Oh yeah...they care, and believe in trust and transparency. There is absolutely no need to cut jobs with this type of profit. The 16 people left great jobs to launch Ocrevus. They leveraged their relationships and expertise to start this rising trend in revenue. Now they are disposed of like a piece of human debris. Sleep well.

The average American salary is less than 30k. You made 5 times that. Very unappreciative for what Genentech gave you.

Genentech “gave” me nothing. I “gave” them Millions of Dollars in Revenue.

$150,000 is nothing compared to the revenue I generate for them. I realize you are probably an uneducated minimum wage earner. I’m not.

Start your own company and pay yourself what you’re worth then. Don’t look to the government for a handout. Contract pharma pays 50k. Beneath you?

No pharma rep deserves 150k. You were robbing Genentech. The drug sells itself.

Would you f*cking go away? Your comments are both lame and uneducated. You must be sitting at your computer looking at this every 5 minutes. You’re either one of three things:
1. A psycho
2. A Disgruntled idiot who doesn’t even have a job and probably got turned away here
3. A plant to try and deviate from the real issues

Now which one is it? We all believe it’s a combination, starting with number one.

Wake up!! This is a SSF, a culture of deceit. debauchery, and destruction. That's how Genentech management got where they are and how they decided to live their life. You knew what you signed up for before or soon after your first meeting. The whole, so called culture was just a function of excess profits. Spend it on perks or pay it in taxes..... No more excess profits ever again... Buckle up it will just get worse and more deceitful with every passing day.

Excellent analysis on the revenue. It is pocket change in the big scheme of things to keep the 16 on board rather than dumping them. Surely Genentech will provide alternative positions to help them?
