Looking at two positions one with Amgen and one with Gene. Amgen offer coming first. Made it to panel at gene but no guarantees. Is it really that much better at gene? Time off is better and 401 is better at Amgen just curious, thoughts for ms spot. What salary could I expect coming in at 114?
Thanks

Amgen is run by a banker. It's more big Pharma that gne. I would wait for gne having recently left Amgen. It's a terrible company. Both companies used to be great but gne is still good while Amgen is more like Pfizer. Gne gas better products too.

My wife works at Amgen and honestly they are a great company. You are correct about the benefits and you can't go wrong with either company in my opinion.

both are solid companies though they are not the way they were a decade ago. Evaluate them on what they offer today because tomorrow could be a different story. Genentech has the better pipeline and is overall more diversified across therapeutic areas. Look at the complete package and go with your gut.

I agree. Amgen's vacation policy isn't that great, but you do get the week of July 4 off. The 401K is 10% match too--awesome. Healthcare costs have gone up dramatically ,but they have everywhere.

OBU less micromanaged.
INBU--good products, but very metric oriented and big pharma. ALSO...field rides every 3 to 4 weeks.

BCBU--Repatha TOUGH--high goals.

Roche owns Genentech moron......BIG PHARMA IS FAST APPROACHING. Genentech was a good company, but it's not genentech anymore. Except the facts!
