Galderma's Realistic Future?

GAlderma bought a biologics topical good luck trying to get it covered. It will be another rat race and the team that wins have better coverage in the area or magic co pay cards.

In truth Nestle has been shopping around for a biologic or a stand alone in the market type product . Cold feet have prevailed in pulling the trigger . HA is a looney and doesn't understand the market , the shine has gone off G in the derm community and all the " me too " products like Epi forte are a freakin joke that MC won't touch .

Behind the scenes people are trying but there is still a lot of dead wood in sales and marketing , MC accounts etc. Those worried about losing head count and position come up with whacky ideas (key accounts and sales force for cetaphil ) that suck away revenue and product no real bottom line growth . Adding another % to your BPO product doesn't cut it .

Prediction : slow to medium fast death . Company half the head count in 5 years , unless company is divested or sold off in chunks .

Sad to say but the talent who had vision, true strategic planning, and were dedicated to seeing Galderma succeed left. What novel products are really in our pipeline? Has our Managed Care department made any real strides to try to get our Rx products covered? What is the plan to get any new products on formulary? KC's group consists of over-empowered, clueless, arrogant, overpaid reps. Have you noticed the same incapable boys from the Inner Circle keep getting promoted because they kiss up to BF, CC and MH? The people who question the same, tired, overplayed initiatives are black-balled. There is no future here. Our only hope is Nestle will see what the sales force sees and overhauls the WHOLE leadership team. Truth be told, there will be layoffs. Cannot wait to give my notice! Go out there and interview. There are so many better opportunities out there.

Leadership team stabs each other in the back so they will annihilate themselves..

Fear breeds this kind of behavior , no confidence in self . Who says Novartis or Celgene or any other pharma is a safe long term play ? The industry as a whole is facing uncertain times . However , leaving Galderma will get you a bump in pay and a better looking resume that will be VITAL down river if you want a brighter future . I did just that recently , left , and already I'm reaping the rewards.

Don't miss it for a minute , still have friends over there making excuses for staying , please don't be a fool . Look around , set your own course while other companies are interested in you . There will be a time very soon when the name Galderma means nothing in Derm but a historical footnote . Don't be comfortable or kid yourself that things will get better , so called leaders at this company are not respected in industry. The talent left in the last 18 months , what left is bottom feeders who as the poster said above are turning on themselves for the scraps left behind or sitting on their hands waiting for bonuses . Yes they care nothing about you but hold onto positions for cash, nothing more . Wake up and take action while you still can .

Not everyone can leave so we make the best of things. We all have families to support and must work.

There are not that many positions available and I stay because I choose to stay..

Would you sell if the call were yours? Serious products, strong pipeline, solid share growth, expanding market. And Real and responsive sales leadership who Get It. So grateful I made the move from AGN when I did.
responsive leadership, serious products and strong pipelines? Have some more koolaid!

Put a frog into a vessel fill with water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjust its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore. At this point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature. Very soon the frog dies.
What killed the frog?
Think about it!
I know many of us will say the boiling water. But the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when to jump out.
We all need to adjust with people & situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust & when we need to move on. There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions.
If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so.
Let us decide when to jump!
Let's jump while we still have the strength.
