Funny how so many people wanted the cardio job

I'm in the eye division and many of us have been baffled why so many people wanted to initially join this company because of the drug alone. Have you figured this place out yet? Not a good place to be. Even if the drug would be a blockbuster (which many of us suspect it won't be as great as they thought), it doesn't equate to these "incredible" bonuses we keep hearing about. We have just been quietly laughing a bit because you all need to realize that if you expect these massive uncapped bonuses, it just isn't going to happen. You'll get your annual 30k like every other big pharmaceutical company if you make quota.

Are you sure you're in the "eye" division? Our target bonus is not 30k. If you're in the "eye" division you'd know that. You shit burger troll.

Yes, and calling on cardiologists sucks.

Yes that what you will receive dumbass. Possible 40, but that it. And yes, I have worked here for three years and we have never once seen a huge payout. So kiss off and keep on dreaming idiot.

Yes, this company is going to be great!

Right until all the Allergan groupies hire one another and then
you are down the shi**er since you will get bought by Sanofi.
We all know they are call the shots on the PCSK9.

This company will be gone soon under the umbrella of another large pharma.

Keep you resumes updated

I have to agree with the OP. It's funny how excited people are when in reality you have just been hired by an average company. Once you get out and launch this drug and face the realities like any other pharmaceutical job, everyone will change their attitudes. The crappy work has yet to happen.

It will be so funny and interesting to read all the complaining posts in about 4 months from now. But I also have to say that never in my career have I seen so much negative feedback on any launch from any company. So I don't think that is a good sign at all.

Had a great final interview and no offer/rejection in 4 business days after I was told I'd hear from them in a couple of days.......frustrating and makes me wonder about the level of professionalism of this company. An answer, one way or the other, is not unreasonable. If offer comes, I'm not sure how important going to respond..my gut feeling is to shy away from this organization.

You have your red flag. Your scenario is typical. unfortunately you were probably second choice so they have extended an offer to their first choice candidate. If the first choice doesn't take the offer, then they go back to you and offer you the job. Just listen to your gut because if it doesn't feel right, it isn't right.
