Again, nobody forced you to take the job as it was your choice out of necessity. It's called self pride and doing the right thing. Regardless of what you do you should give it your best and least that is the way I was raised. The pharma industry as a whole has changed. The days of all the perks, fancy POA's and launch meetings are over. Ventiv does not intentionally single anyone out to take advantage of them it's simply the business model and how things have progressed. If you choose to take a CSO opportunity for any reason that is your decesion. If you need a temporary fill until something better comes along than so be it. However you should still do the right thing work hard and have some pride. You don't work for bragging rights you work to support yourself and your family that is all that matters. All of us who have experiended the glory years are sad it's over but it's out of our control. You could always leave the industry or go back to school but to everyone who whines and complaines grow up. No matter how bad you feel you may have it there is always someone who has it worse. Guess what, I have pride and all I really care about is doing the right thing for myself and for my family which is working hard and giving 100% regardless of what it is that I choose to do. You are ovbiously the insecure one who cares what others may think about the title of what you do and where you work. It's not the job that defines you, your character does.
