Ft. Worth territory and benes? why open?

I see there are 3 territories open, one is Ft. worth. Does anyone know how long Graceway will last? Really? I know there is alot of pessimism, but do they have a chance? also, why is this territory open? layoff or fired? Last, what is the medical insurance for individual coverage? I see that it is sky high, but if not insuring family, shouldn't be too bad. I have seen bad...I appreciate response...

I recently departed for green pastures.

If you are scrapping the bottom of your financial barrel, you will join a company doing the same thing. Chapter 11 and being sold is its only salvation. Sold to capital venture or to another (crazy for doing it) pharma company and it is possible that the sales force will survive in some form. Sold to another pharma for products; no chance for sales force to survive.

Texas DM is OK so a good boss is a plus. Benefits are expensive but they exist. Marketing support is near end of its rope.

If sale does not come by September, survival is highly unlikely. Big payments on interest missed twice; hugh staff lay offs make this a shoestring operation.

Odds of survival? 1:88. Not great but the fat lady has only cleared her throat. Good luck.

why are they hiring if they are going down? I would think they would want to save on training, upstart of new rep. I believe what you are saying, but just wondering why they would want to train 3 new reps for a few more months. Thanks for honest replies

The company is hiring only when needed to fill productive territories in order to keep sales going. If a buyer is interested, the buyer would have to believe that there profits could be made. Potential buyers also would want to harvest what ever knowledge and relationships there may exist within the sales force. Buyers would either integrate the sales force or keep them around long enough to Learn what it could from the sales force before laying them off. The investment into training is not very much so it is a cheap way to keep the old tub from looking too rusty and still capable of moving.

For someone looking to join; simply realize that 'something' is going to happen soon; just what that 'something' is remains a mystery.

Not joining a 6 month "contract" job... I guess if you need extra money and don't depend on it, don't mind traveling all over NM OK and TX this would be perfect for you until you are canned! (probably with no severance!) But once again, perfect for someone who just wants to put some extra bucks in their pockets!

The interview was the next day with options of interviewing anytime from 9-3! (and the call was at 4pm or so) Funny! Wonder if he got any takers?
