This board is anonymous guys, so why dont your group of employees give our group a little heads up for Christmas concerning our future. Our company is cold, heartless and has no soul, but u don't have to be. There are families and futures that will be destroyed because of the decisions Pfizer Leadership has made over the past years as well as their inability to get a drug approved.
Just asking for the human courtesy and the respect that our employer is incapable of showing those that work to pay their multi millions in individual yearly salary.

What do you say? Are you all in?
 








The answer is simple and has been for some years now. The pharma rep model as you know it is becoming extinct in our evolving business landscape. You want to know if you will still have a job and the answer is eventually 'no' if you stick in this position. You seem to want the exact time this will happen to you and that is difficult to predict without knowing more about your personal situation. It will happen though so my suggestion would be to look for another job that fits into future pharma sales and marketing models to which the industry is adapting and you'll have better control of your career. IMO experts in accountable care and health outcomes will be needed in many areas within our sector.
 




Thank you for the reply. I agree with your advice about the changing landscape of Pharma sales. My plan is be become educated on the upcoming advances In Healthcare outcomes and how they fit Into group and Individual practices. Things change, better to change with them than be left behind.
 




This was very helpful. I think we all need to hear the truth even if we don't want to accept it. Maybe this is the right time for me to make some choices based on the pharma industry's evolution. Best of luck to all.
