Friend of mine got both reject letter and the congrats consumer report form

Nobody else heard of this or have any idea which one he should pay attention to...the reject or the background? He said he went ahead and sent in the background forms but hasn't heard anything yet. What do you all think? He got the rejection letter first and then the next day he got the background request. Obviously one was sent in error but I don't know which one. He said something about there being a number on the background form but when he called today they were closed. Ideas?

This just goes to show that Lilly is entirely screwed up. Lilly is a bankrupt company, financially and in leadership. Lilly has farmed out so much of its operation that no one knows what is going on. It has gone from an outstanding company that discovered and marketed great drugs, to a company that can't tell it's ass from a hole in the ground. It is a sad story of how a great innnovative company was ruined by foriegners like Taurel, and stupid Americans like Lechleiter.

Dumb and dumber... I can still hear Sid trumpeting Zyprexa on his v/m msgs ... how he avoided prison is a real mystery.

Since correspondence is managed by the outsourced company, and their is a flurry of fast-changing hiring decision, there is going to be a few screw-ups as you are pointing to. I would not even call if rejection letter came, since that was the intention. Do not freely give away your right. As to my knowledge there is no other company who had to sign the corporate integrity agreement with the US Dept of Justice and HHS for malfeasance in marketing zyprexa. But that is a different topic.

huh? Go take your medicine.

Just a thought, but since there are so many positions being filled right now, could you have possible been rejected for one but selected to move on in another? Did you apply for more than one?
