Fred and gang heading for Forrest labs

This is a perfect move for Freddie:

Back in the 90's and early 2000's Forrest hit the scene with Lexapro- a SSRI competing with Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Effexor, and others. Nobody thought they had a chance because their product was seen as weaker efficacy than the other options out there. They did a pretty fair job of pegging it for women who don't want the major side effects of the other SSRIs and they captured market share. Fast forward to 2013 and they are in a similar position of B+L:

In September 2010, Forest Laboratories, Inc. and Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (a subsidiary of Forest Laboratories) agreed to pay more than US$313 million to resolve allegations of civil and criminal liability relating to felony obstruction of justice and the illegal distribution and promotion of pharmaceuticals, charges to which it pled guilty.[5] One of the pharmaceutical-related charges was a misdemeanor charge of illegally promoting the drugs Celexa and Lexapro for unapproved pediatric uses in treating depression.[6][7] The other drug-related charge was a misdemeanor charge of distributing the unapproved drug Levothroid in violation of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FDCA).[6][7] Certain of the criminal activities were revealed with the help of whistleblowers, who were slated to receive US$14 million from the federal component of the settlement.[7] (Wikipedia)

HQ in New York, been in trouble with the government for illegal promotion, and probably looking to sell to the highest bidder. Look for a repeat of the B+L blowout: Freddie moves in, artificially inflates the company's numbers, and sells to the highest paying sucker company.
