Fraud?

To this poster: when we see each other in a few months, the answer to your question will be; yes, I will have fries with that. Your current product is not recommended by ASCO, it is in fact condemned. The new product you speak of is tucked away in the closet and your people will have no idea which way to go when you launch it from that little factory in PA (if you ever launch it)because med oncs have no desire to speak with them. Chemo fx is crap and most of the reps have little to no oncology experience. They are getting paid for standing stupid and quiet in the OR's, waiting for the circulators to write the orders so they can place their purple sticker on the Rec and hope the checks keep coming to their customers.

Your days are numbered"...... Oh, and I changed my mind, I'll have rings. Thanks

Awfully quiet all of the sudden.......you must be waiting to be told what lies to tell by your management. Well, thanks for playing and goodnight.

Well, here we are, nearly 4 months after your post, and PTI is still going strong.

AB, I guess you don't know wtf you are talking about, huh? LOL!

Idiot.

Going strong?... From what I hear the pti specimens are way down from last year at this time... Now, from a business stand point is that a good sign? I suppose you're going to tell me that's because less people got cancer this year?

Caris is bringing in more specs (which actually get billed out and the results used) with a salesforce 1/3 of the size.

Hahahaha... Now if that isn't the pot calling the kettle black, then I don't know what is. Precision was built on bribes and inducements. The observational trial is not only fraudulent, it's the only thing keeping the company going! That data is going to be really important when it comes out... I'm sure oncologists are dying to know how their patients with stage 1 endometrial cancer are going to respond to chemo.

Lets not forget about the almighty clinical utility trial... So my understanding is that a physician sends all patients, and all Precision wants to know is what chemo regimen the patient received and how long they live? I'm sure that's going to answer alot of unknowns at ASCO.

Eventually the investors will catch onto how unstable this business is. Once physicians stop receiving checks for ordering a test that they don't use, then the company will be out of business. You heard it here first.

SO CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME THE TRUTH ABOUT THIS TEST AND COMPANY. I AM THINKING ABOUT ADDING THE TEST TO MY ROUTINE ONCOLOGY TESTING.

Which Company? If you are asking about Caris, it is validated technology/methodology with PFS data in Metastatic Breast, Colon and Ov Ca. Yes, a small cohort of Pt's however more data to come. If you are asking about Precision, I suggest you take a look at the ASCO PCO from 2011 naming Chemo FX by name stating that it is experimental and should not be used clinically under any circumstances.........then take a look at the JCO article from 2004 and then again in 2011 discussing Chemosensitivity testing. that should answer any question you have about Precision.

This is quite possibly the most ridiculous statement I've seen on this board. ASCO has NEVER endorsed Caris. The Target Now test is a shotgun blast, and running over 100 markers that aren't validated. If an oncologist needs to know information on biomarkers, they will ask for those specific markers, which are non-proprietary.

The quote above is obviously from a Caris rep drinking the kool-aid. A lying idiot.

ASCO never said anything about ChemoFx being "experimental". Here is the exact recommendation from the ASCO assessment in 2004, which mirrors the recommendation in 2011. The difference is that ASCO actually names ChemoFx in the 2011 assessment. Here's the recommendation:

"The use of CSRAs to select chemotherapeutic agents for individual patients is not recommended outside of the clinical trial setting. Oncologists should make chemotherapy treatment recommendations based on published reports of clinical trials and a patient's health status and treatment preferences. Because the in vitro analytic strategy has potential importance, participation in clinical trials evaluating these technologies remains a priority."

The 2011 assessment specifically mentions ChemoFx, by stating:

"The Update Working Group considered data from recently published studies using the ChemoFx assay. This assay has not be prospectively compared with other cellular or molecular chemotherapy response tests or a clinical gold standard. Further research may establish it as an assay for clinical use, but data are not sufficient to recommend routine use of ChemoFx outside the clinical trials setting."

This should not be a surprise to anyone in the industry, especially an oncologist. ASCO guidelines ALWAYS follow clinical adoption. It is really up to each individual oncologist to decide.

Under the Update Methodology of this assessment it states:

"For the 2011 Update, an ASCO Update Committee/Working Group (Appendix Table A1, online only) was composed of members of the full 2004 original CSRA Guideline Panel."

This is a blatent lie. It only takes a moment to see that Daniel Von Hoff is on the 2004 Assessment, but nowhere to be found on the 2011 assessment.

Anybody care to guess where Von Hoff is now? Conflict of interest? Anyone?? Anyone???

going strong that is right! Don't let anyone tell you we are downsizing and laying off reps that aren't producing and not back filling those positions. If I could get out of here I would. This is a joke of a product and leadership. Heard through the grapevine Sm is out looking for money because it is almost dried up not for the new product. Better yet why is Bain sending out surveys for reps that are leaving are they concerned about their investment. As long as these jokers keep paying me and my taking care of my benefits i will run my pizza shop. We are still around though and that post is bogus.

Is Bain really sending out surveys to reps that have left?
