QSV, 'The Cube' and The Birkmann Triangle are all throbbing with anticipation for this new timesuck farce of an activity. The Cliff is waiting...tick tick tick...

I think it is a great diversion activity that will get our minds off the fact that the ship is sinking. At least this way we can all dream of a great future together, even though it will end for most of us in the next 24 months.

I also think it is a great idea. It will keep the minions preoccupied while the rest of us are out looking for opportunities with a future.

The mindset with this activity is consistent with Lilly's past leadership strategy. Rather than lead, which takes effort and talent, they buy some shiny package from a consulting firm to give the appearance that they know what they are doing. This activity will eventually fade away when, like all the other packages, it fails to deliver any meaningful value to the organizations. I can't wait till this company is sold. The new management will have a hay day cleaning out our leadership mess.

While we are all sitting on these calls our competitor are out their selling. This activity provides no value at all.

Not content with the complete waste of time disaster that was USOL, now Lilly Oncology develops another superb waste of time! Notice our company always dreams up these activities in the absence of any new sales data?

And then every leader (or wanna be leader) in the OBU attaches themselves to this already intuitive activity in order to try and advance their career - thereby making what might have been a productive analysis into a complete "sure fire" waste of time.
